The Wizards get the W! Deputy Director Manning joined DC Housing Authority for the Wizards vs. Hawks game at Capital One Arena on 11/25/25. The outing was part of the Secure the BAG (BEHAVIOR, ATTENDANCE, GRADES) Initiative that supports youth in schools striving to do their best.

Deputy Director of Cultural Affair Marcus Manning and MOCA Director Carey met with the Carpenter Contractor Trust regarding creating a pipeline for more district residents to participate in paid pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship trainings for careers in union carpentry. Adult education is one of the ways to contribute to growth in the district!
