On Memorial Day, the Philippine Embassy in Washington, D.C. honors the servicemembers whose courage, sacrifice, and devotion laid the foundation for an enduring alliance and a shared commitment to freedom.

As we commemorate 80 years of Philippine-U.S. diplomatic relations and the 75th anniversary of the PH-US Mutual Defense Treaty, we remember the generations of Filipino and American servicemembers who stood together in moments of war, hardship, and uncertainty, and whose legacy continues to strengthen the enduring friendship, alliance, and partnership between our two nations.

May their service remind us of the cost of freedom and the responsibility we share in pursuing peace, security, and dignity for future generations.
