Today, I led FEMA, the Army Corps, NJDEP, and local officials on a tour of South Jersey shore communities hit by the nor’easter.

We are still assessing damage in our shore towns and communities along the Delaware Bay to make sure we know what is needed and where help is needed most. We already have funding in place for important coastal work, and after what we saw today, we are going to work to secure more.

We are staying on top of the storm response and recovery across South Jersey. Teams are already assessing damage, and I will be meeting with federal officials to make sure our communities get the resources they need.

We knew something was wrong with South Jersey’s electric bills. We kept pushing, we asked FERC to audit Atlantic City Electric, and now we know we were right.

South Jersey families were overbilled for electricity. They deserve their money back.

The video in question has been deleted, and I want to be very clear: I condemn racism in any form. These types of videos are morally wrong. Sadly, this kind of behavior happens on both sides of the aisle, and it needs to stop. We should be holding ourselves to a higher standard.
