NoMa Summer Boost Program Update 🌟
Hello NoMa Families,
We are excited to welcome participating scholars to the NoMa Summer Boost Program this summer! 🎉
📅 Program Start Date: Monday, June 29, 2026
📅 Program End Date: Thursday, July 30, 2026
⏰ Hours: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM
As we finalize student rosters, we are asking all families who have not yet confirmed participation to please confirm as soon as possible.
✅ If you haven't confirmed, please do so by email to Ms. Edwards at [email protected], or by calling the front office. This will ensure your child is included on the official roster before the program begins.

Well, what an exciting couple of days for our NoMa mathematicians! First, select 3rd - 8th grade scholars had a chance to compete in the inaugural Capital Math Classic at Nats Park; 80 schools from across the city participated. Next, our 5th & 6th graders competed in the Center City math competition at our Celebration of Learning! Our scholars competed well, showing grit, perseverance, and skill! Good job!! 👏🏾👏🏾

Our Book Fair was a huge success, and it’s all because of our amazing NoMa community! Thanks to your support, we were able to purchase new books for our NoMa Reads libraries in Primary, Elementary, and Middle School.
Because of you, more students will have access to exciting books and opportunities to grow as readers.
Thank you for showing up, giving back, and helping us build a stronger reading culture at NoMa!

On Thursday, April 23, 2026, we will celebrate our amazing students at the Quarter 3 Honor Roll & Awards Assembly!
We’re recognizing outstanding academic achievements with the following Honor Roll distinctions:
🏅 Principal’s Honor Roll – All A’s or 4’s
🎖️ Distinguished Honor Roll – A’s & B’s / 3’s & 4’s (No C’s or 2’s)
👏 Honor Roll – A’s & B’s / 3’s & 4’s, with no more than one C or 2
But that’s not all! We’ll also be handing out Content Awards to spotlight students who’ve gone above and beyond in specific subject areas!
