Congress Must Respond to Callais 05/22/2026

In Louisiana v. Callais, the Supreme Court dealt the Voting Rights Act its gravest blow, making it practically impossible to enforce the landmark law’s prohibition on racial discrimination.

Congress must respond. It has the power to do so.
