Even the rain can’t stop these retired police officers, firefighters, and public servants from showing up to the Capitol and demanding the Social Security they’ve earned. The Senate must vote on my bipartisan bill to now. We won't give up on this.

Bill Burges was the oracle of Cleveland — few understood Northeast Ohio and the issues that affect people’s lives better. We worked with him on campaign after campaign; his wit, good judgment, and wisdom always carried the day. Connie and I are sad that Bill is gone. We will miss him, and we hold his family in our prayers.

Congratulations to my friend Rita Lewis, who was honored yesterday with the Presidential Citizen’s Medal for helping save the pensions of millions of workers across our country.
Because of Rita's unrelenting activism, 100,000 Ohio workers can retire with dignity & the pensions they earned over a lifetime of work.

Connie and I are keeping Mayor Johnson’s family and the Village of Somerset in our prayers.

Ohio workers are ready to lead the world in semiconductor manufacturing, but they need federal investment from our CHIPS Act now to keep this project moving forward.
The Commerce Department needs to move quickly on this already-approved investment in Ohio. I’ll keep pushing until they get this done.

When East Palestine residents were told they’d have to pay taxes on money they received from Norfolk Southern, we demanded that the IRS reverse course & make these payments exempt.
We won that fight, and 2 weeks ago my office helped residents get thousands of dollars back on their taxes.

UAW workers in Zanesville were at risk of losing their jobs until we stepped in. Because we fixed a proposed federal regulation, those workers will continue to make key components of our electrical grid.
