Tubman Toads going to college!!!! Congratulations to all of our Toads Class of 2026! There is a Tubman Scholarship for CHEC graduates and tonight we celebrated Angeli, Angela, Quannika, Sara, Brendaly and wish them well on their next steps at Columbia University, Georgetown, Trinity, American University and Johns Hopkins. Your Tubman family is always 100% behind you!

Tubman is so proud of Emily Wheat and Cindy Morales who were awarded the School Mental Health Champion Award from Mary’s Center today. These two teachers advocate and adjust to meet their students’ needs while listening, loving and making sure all students are learning. Congratulations!!!!

Our first graders took their curiosity to the zoo today, trading their desks for a chance to watch the tiger roam and the turtles nap. It was a day of big questions and even bigger smiles as we explored the animal kingdom together.

Wrapping up Teacher Appreciation Week with a huge “Thank You!” to our incredible staff! From the daily surprises to these awesome new shirts from our Principal, it’s been a week full of gratitude.

A special shoutout to everyone behind the scenes who coordinated a treat or gift for staff every single day, your thoughtfulness made this week truly special. We are so lucky to work alongside such a dedicated team. 🐸

Our amazing Wellness Team put together an amazing Mental Health & Wellness Event for Mental Health Awareness Month! Thank you to all the families, community partners, and staff who joined in and contributed, we are thankful.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month! To shine light on the importance of mental health, we are having a wellness event tomorrow, May 7th at 4:30pm. RSVP and join us to do Zumba, get a massage, and connect with community partners. The link to RSVP will be in our Instagram bio. Food will be provided!
