I have a thought...

Maybe before we offer international humanitarian aid to a 3rd world country we should ask the top 10 political leaders, and their dependents, in that country to personally guarantee that they will repay any funds that we can document were misused (ie corruption)

I don't hold them responsible for "success". But hold them accountable if we can document our funds were abused and people stole our funds for personal gain.

I realize this is difficult to implement. But possibly it would deter corruption.

Thoughts?

Conservatives are being blamed for conflicts resulting from "Woke" debates.

I contend that Conservatives are NOT responsible for these conflicts. It is the Progressives who are pushing change on a population that is largely content with the status quo.

There would be little or no conflict if Progressives were not pushing unnatural and unusual interpretation and policies in people's faces.

Conservatives are satisfied with the status quo.

Progressives are demanding change and then getting upset when people don't want change.

I do NOT support Trump. However, I am concerned that the multiple claims against him may be political.

Despite the fact that MANY Republicans believe he should not be the GOP nominee in the upcoming election, many of them have objected to the prosecutions arguing that they are politically motivated.

I believe that Trump did things that were wrong. BUT I believe he is being treated more harshly than others who have been "careless" with the law.

I AGREE Trump Lost the election.

I do NOT believe that asking the GA Sec of state to make sure that all of the votes were counted correctly was CRIMINAL. There were no threats, just a request to make sure everything was done correctly.

I AGREE that Trump should have returned all of the classified docs. But there are many instances where politicians have been equally careless with classified docs that have been managed less harshly. Cases in point Fawn Hall and Sandy Berger. Trump should have cooperated more fully and I criticise his lack of cooperation. But his actions while wrong do not merit this level of prosecution.

As far as Jan 6th goes I do not believe that Trump broke the law. I know people who were there, such as Nina May , and they have assured me that some of what we have seen in the media has been altered to make the events appear more destructive.

Trump LOST. But Trump had a Right to challenge the election results. Once he did that he should have been more polite and conceded the election. But his actions are not "Criminal" there are simply in bad taste.

As evidence for my position, I point to the many Republicans who do NOT support Trump, such as former VP Pence, Governor DeSantis and many others who HAVE CONDEMNED Trump but called the prosecution an overstep.

Trump has been impeached by a Partisian House of Represenatives TWICE but exonerated by the more balanced Senate Both Times.

Why are 80%+ of Republicans, even many who oppose him, calling the prosecutions of Trump "persercution"?

I AGREE Trump has done many inappropriate things. I do NOT support him today. But the relentleass ongoing attacks only affirm that he is being unjustly persecuted.

Let's move forward. I'd like to see a different GOP candidate who is more respectful, but supports many of Trumps policies.

Discrimination is WRONG. But I believe people have The Right to be Wrong.

Discrimination should not be criminal, even if it is disreputable and unacceptable.

Discrimination hurts both the person who Discriminates and the person who is the victim of Discrimination.

I oppose Discrimination but I also believe that people have the right to discriminate.

However, unlike individuals, government has no right to discriminate. Discrimination by government should be illegal and subject to penalties. Government represents all of us. While an individual has a right to discriminate governments do not have this right since governments are composed of ALL people.

Who believes that individuals lack the Right to discriminate?

In 2016 I actively supported Donald Trump for President.

In 2020 I voted to re-elect President Trump. I Had Serious misgivings with him, but felt that VP Biden was a poor choice.

I now and convinced that I was Right to Oppose Biden. I believe he jas been a poor Presisent.

I do NOT understand the appeal of Presisent Trump. At this point in time, I will vote for almost ANY other GOP candidate against Trump in a GOP primary.

But if I am forced to vote for Biden, Trump or a 3rd party candidate, who cannot win, I will have to make a truly Hobbsian choice?

I believe 4 more years of Biden would be a Horrible choice for our country.

I believe another Trrump presidency would be worse than the last.

I really don't want to throw my vote away for a 3rd party candidate, who simply cannot win.

There are other Democrats that I Would vote FOR, such as Sen. Manchin.

There are MANY other GOP contenders who I would vote FOR with enthusiasm.

If I have a Trump/Biden choice I feel like the kid who has been offered a "P**p sunday" or a "P**s smoothie".

NEITHER candidate is deserving of the presidency.

I do not know who I oppose more:

Trump had policies that I liked but was an embarrassment and failed to accomplish many of his signature goals because he did not understand how to govern effectively and did a very poor job appointing top tier staff to his schedule c positions.

Biden. Is like Aunt Clara from Bewitched. A kindly, but befuddled individual with powers that can not be properly managed.

It is pathetic that we may have such a horrible choice.

I cannot imagine voting for Biden, Trump, or wasting my vote on a candidate that simply cannot win.

I have no idea what I will do if given such a horrific choice.

I hope and pray that BOTH of the front runners step aside and create an opportunity for better candidates to emerge. Both Trump and Biden are consuming all of the political oxygen and will leave us with devastation.

I do not wish either of then to die, but I do wish they would forgo politics and do something, ANYTHING, else.

God Bless America. We need a better choice for the future!

Russia Disgusts me!

Russia has the audacity to complain about Ukrainian attacks on Russia while continuing to attack Ukrainian cities at random.

Why is it acceptable for Russia to attack Ukraine but it is not acceptable for Ukraine to attack Russia?

Russia, and its leaders are not only hypocritical, but they are blind to reality.

If Russia wants the attacks on Russian soil to end they MUST cease ALL Attacks on foreign territories. They must withdraw from Ukraine, Moldovia, Georgia and Syria.

Russia is a delusional country lead by delusional leaders.
