14 million children in the U.S. struggle with hunger. Gen Z—those born between 1997 and 2012—are now 20% of the U.S. population and are more likely to be food-insecure than other generations. And food insecurity is one of the top reasons college students drop out.

We're working to change that. See how the Congressional Hunger Center and the Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation are deepening a 25-year partnership to put young people at the center of the solutions.

People most affected by hunger and poverty should be at the center of finding solutions—and in the U.S., no generation of adults is more likely to be affected by food insecurity than Gen Z.

That’s why we’re proud to partner with Food Systems Collaborative and Oxfam, Universities Fighting World Hunger - UFWH, The Bonner Foundation, and the Global Food Institute at the George Washington University to host the 4th Gen Z
Food & Hunger Summit this summer.

We’re bringing Gen Z leaders to Washington, D.C., for an in-depth, insider’s look at the current food insecurity landscape and to connect with their lawmakers to share their experiences and perspectives.
