The Ward 8 Farmer's Market season opens June 6, and there's still time to sign up for $40 a month in free fruits and vegetables through the Produce Plus program.
Produce Plus Produce Plus is funded by DC Health and administered by FRESHFARM. Produce Plus provides locally grown, fresh fruits and vegetables to Washington, DC residents with limited access to fresh, healthy food.
