Good morning DC — especially anyone looking for expanded paid parental, family or medical leave. We’ve got you covered. Leave has expanded to 12 weeks in all 3 categories.

You’re a business? Good morning to you, too! Payroll tax cut by > half w/1st reduced payment this month.

Prenatal leave? Yep, 2 weeks in addition to the 12 for parental leave.

PFL has been popular since July 2020 start, w/28,000 participating. Last year and Labor Committee w/full Council support required financial review leading to reduced tax *and* expanded leave.

And good morning to DC government workers too! Tomorrow the Council takes its 2nd/final vote on similar benefits for public sector employees.
