On June 2, 2022 Friends of Georgetown Waterfront Park will unveil the book The Georgetown Waterfront, Port Town to Urban Neighborhood, at a free book unveiling and talk at Grace Episcopal Church, 1041 Wisconsin Ave NW, from 6:00-7:30pm. The talk will celebrate its publication which coincides with the 10th Anniversary of the beloved National Park. The free event is sponsored by the Friends of Georgetown Waterfront Park.

The event will feature Washington historian Kathryn Schneider Smith, city and environmental planner Ann Satterthwaite—authors of the book—and Meg Hardon who serves as the President of Friends of Georgetown Waterfront Park. The event is free and open to the public.
