Diesel fuels the trucks that transport food and goods across the country. With diesel prices on the rise, Virginia families are feeling it at the grocery store.
That’s why I’m leading a bill with Congressman Don Davis to pause the diesel tax. I’m also supporting two bills to pause the gas tax to deliver the immediate relief that hardworking Virginians deserve.

As a founding member of the Congressional Lowering Utility Bills Caucus, I’ve seen firsthand how rising utility costs are squeezing working families across the Commonwealth.
That’s why I'm leading on common sense legislation that would lower utility costs for hard working families.
Working Virginians deserve real protections from unfair and unpredictable utility costs. I’ll continue fighting every day in Congress to lower costs and hold utility companies accountable.

Cameron from my team had the honor of presenting a Congressional Record to Carol Callahan in tribute to Lt. Colonel Joseph Callahan Jr. and his remarkable service.
Carol’s home recently received a new roof through Operation Raise the Roof, which provides secure roofing for veterans and their families.
It was a meaningful way to continue honoring Lt. Colonel Callahan and the organization’s important work.
