I’m sickened that a Tempe student and their parent were violently detained by ICE and taken to a detention center in Texas just before his 8th grade promotion.

Terrorizing a child, ripping them from their community, and forcing them into detention is beyond cruel. It is inhumane and disgraceful. This is exactly the kind of fear and trauma we have continued to see under Trump’s mass detention policies. I stand fully with Rep. Stanton and support every effort to bring this family home to Arizona where they belong.

This Memorial Day, we remember and honor the brave servicemembers who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and our freedoms. May we honor their legacy not only in words, but through our continued commitment to serving veterans and military families.

It was wonderful to join and for their AAPI Night Market! There was no better way to celebrate AANHPI Heritage Month than to try a variety of delicious dishes, drinks, and desserts from across the Asian diaspora.

Women’s pain has been ignored and dismissed for far too long. No more.

During Women’s History Month, I introduced my HER Agenda, a package of bills to expand women’s health research, improve pain management, support people with PMDD and endometriosis, and create paid reproductive healthcare leave.

Grateful to the colleagues and advocates who joined us today to push for a healthcare system that finally takes women’s pain seriously. We’re just getting started.
