Today, I introduced the Accelerating Forest Management Act to speed up active forest management, reduce wildfire risk, and support rural economies.

Last year alone, Montana saw more than 2,400 wildfires. We need commonsense forest management tools to help prevent catastrophic fires before they start.

This week, I toured Yellowstone Park with Regenerative Land Solutions to hear concerns about bison overgrazing and public land management.

The concerns they raised deserve a closer look from every agency involved. Americans care deeply about preserving our national treasures, and management decisions should be rooted in science, balance, and common sense.

Montanans value both wildlife conservation and our agricultural heritage, and we should continue working to responsibly support both.

A great event that gives families hands-on experience with construction and emergency equipment while highlighting the importance of digging safety and careers in the skilled trades.
