Pennsylvania Farm Bureau President Tommy Nagle has done an outstanding job representing our farmers and agriculture industries.

Recently, I had the opportunity to visit his impressive farm and see firsthand the hard work and dedication that goes into putting food on our tables. With just around 1,000 acres, he has produced more than 3 million pounds of food a year. What a remarkable testament to the impact of our farmers!

As the grandson of farmers, I understand the grit, sacrifice, and commitment it takes to feed our nation. In Congress, I will continue fighting to strengthen our farmers and ensure they can carry on this vital work for generations to come because food security is national security.

Carroll Valley Borough is lucky to have Chief Weikert and Officer Reed serving the community. These are men of true character who have devoted their lives and careers to the safety and well-being of their neighbors.

It was an honor to share a conversation with them and hear how my work in Congress can better equip them to continue doing their jobs well. Thank you for choosing the uniform, here in we back the blue.

George Ceballos works overtime shifts at Curry Rail and during a recent visit he explained to me how the Working Families Tax Cut helped him keep more of his hard earned money.

We recognize the contributions individuals like George make to our communities and American industries. That’s why we championed this historic legislation to ensure our workers feel valued, supported, and empowered to keep doing the important work they do every day.

Fighting fraud has been a top priority of mine, especially in my role as the Energy & Commerce Committee Republicans Oversight & Investigations Chair.

Today, I’m joining Vice President JD Vance’s anti-fraud pledge – ensuring taxpayer dollars are protected and fraudsters are brought to justice.

Protecting young athletes from predatory coaches should be nonnegotiable. Yet, investigations into the Amateur Athletic Union have uncovered the organization's negligence in enforcing safety measures and holding accountable those who have reports of sexual abuse against them.

We are demanding answers and will continue conducting oversight into these allegations.

The Committee on Energy and Commerce is the oldest standing legislative committee in the U.S. House of Representatives and is vested with the broadest jurisdiction of any congressional authorizing committee.

Three years ago today, Hamas led the deadliest attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust. The horrific stories and videos from Oct. 7 are still difficult to stomach.

Today, my heart is with the people of Israel as they mourn the innocent young lives murdered and tortured at the hands of terrorists. They have remained resilient in the face of unimaginable evil.

Our support for our ally has not wavered, and we will continue to ensure that Oct. 7 and every life lost that day are never forgotten.

The first weekend of this year’s Apple Harvest Festival in Adams County was a great success. This annual community event is a wonderful way to kick off the fall season with the whole family.

A special thanks to the over 300 vendors for providing a variety of homegrown treats for everyone to enjoy. Tickets for the second weekend of the festival, October 10-11, are still available!

Last night, Senate Democrats rejected the Ratepayer Protection Act, which passed the House with overwhelming bipartisan support. Republicans listened to the concerns of constituents, but Democrats continue to choose obstruction over commonsense relief for the American people.
