Erdogan backed terrorists are blowing up Alawite homes in Syria? Why is the world silent?

Alevis are the only community in the Middle East that is in love with democracy, has internalized it, and does not see democracy as a tool to be used as a means to an end.

Press Statement

The attack carried out against American soldiers in the Palmyra (Tadmur) region represents yet another painful consequence of the flawed and dangerous policies pursued in Syria over many years. The fact that this attack was carried out by individuals known for their links to radical and terrorist groups makes it imperative to seriously reassess current approaches to counterterrorism.

Attempts to grant political or military legitimacy to actors with a documented history of cooperation with extremist groups endanger not only the people of the region, but also American soldiers and the American public. Terrorism cannot be defeated by relying on those connected to it. This reality has once again been confirmed in a tragic way.

The heaviest burden of these policies has been borne by Alawites and Christians in Syria. These communities have become direct targets of sectarian and religious violence, and Syria has turned into not merely a zone of crisis, but an existential threat for them. For us as Alawites, this situation constitutes a profound devastation and a deep humanitarian trauma.

We call on the international community, and particularly the United States, to abandon policies that place trust in radical actors and to adopt a realistic and ethical approach that prioritizes the protection of civilians and minorities. The establishment of a protected zone, an autonomous structure, or an internationally guaranteed legal status for Alawites and Christians in Syria is no longer a matter of postponement, but an urgent humanitarian necessity.

Lasting peace can only be achieved through policies that draw a clear line against terrorism, ensure the safety of peoples, and safeguard the historical and religious presence of minorities.

I condemn the meeting scheduled for November 10th between President Trump and the so-called Syrian President Jolani, an Al-Qaeda remnant. I urge President Trump to reconsider this policy. I will condemn this situation in a statement in front of the White House. Ishak Karasu, co-chair of the Democratic Life and Future Party of Alawites. I am waiting all other Alawites who lives nearby to join this protest

I strongly condemn the ongoing massacres against the Alawites on the Syrian coast. As the Co-Chair of the Democratic Life and Future Party, I call on the international community to cooperate with us to end these inhumane attacks.

I hereby declare to the whole world: Alevism, Shiism, and Sunnism are distinct faith traditions. Each has its own unique nature, history, and teachings. Please do not confuse them with one another. Shiism does not represent Alevism, and Alevism does not represent Shiism. Each should be understood in its own identity. At its core, Alevism is based on love for humanity and peace.

The Alevi State that we are fighting to establish now declares that it is ready to cooperate with the United States in many areas.

We also share in the grief of the American people during this difficult time and wish them strength and patience.

📢 The World Must Not Forget

In this video, Abu Mohammad al-Jolani — also known as Ahmad al-Sharaa, the emir of al-Qaeda’s branch in Syria, Jabhat al-Nusra — is shown pledging allegiance to Ayman al-Zawahiri, one of the most notorious terrorists in modern history and the successor of Osama bin Laden.

Yet this same man has been invited to address the United Nations General Assembly on September 24.

👉 What message does this send to the families of 9/11 victims?
👉 To the survivors of ISIS and al-Qaeda atrocities?
👉 To every community in Syria that has endured massacres, abductions, forced conversions, and ethnic cleansing at the hands of his forces?

Granting al-Jolani a global stage is not diplomacy — it is legitimizing terror.
It is a betrayal of justice and of every victim of extremist violence.

The Western Syria Alliance (WSA) calls on the international community to reject this normalization of terrorism and to stand with the persecuted communities of Syria who continue to pay the price of his crimes.

🛑 From the Mail 🛑

At the behest of the terrorist government in Damascus, al-Jolani's terrorists continue to pressure and threaten members of other sects, confiscating their decisions under threat.
, a group of so-called "shameful lice" in Masyaf and its countryside attempted to force 30 Alawites, 30 Ismailis, and 10 Sunnis to nominate representatives for the elections affiliated with the terrorist government of al-Jolani.
Alawites in Masyaf have categorically refused to run for office or participate with these criminals.
now, the Alawites have refused any participation.
, pressure is being put on Iyad al-Ghanem, an Alawite merchant and owner of a charitable organization, and he has so far refused this.
people in Masyaf: We know that pressure is being put on you, but maintain your position and do not respond to the pressure.
God protect you and down with the traitors and criminals.

The Call of the Alevi People to Humanity

Today, we Alevi people appeal to the conscience of the world. We call for the dignity of our women not to be trampled upon, for our daughters not to be abducted, for our little children not to be killed again, and for our people never again to face the dark shadow of genocide. The time has come for us to establish our own state.

In the village of Salhat, our daughter Revan Mahfud was r***d in broad daylight. The atrocity that Revan endured is not an isolated incident. Hundreds of Alevi women have faced the same fate—abduction, assault, and violence. What is even more painful is that, while these atrocities continue, Syrian society remains silent, and through its silence, it condones these crimes. Silence is complicity.

The new government in power today is a barbaric and terrorist regime that tramples on human values. Instead of protecting its people, it has targeted our women, our children, and our entire community with its own hands. It is no longer possible for us to live under such a government or within this society.

Every nation has the fundamental right to security and freedom. These rights have been taken from us time and again. Our children have been killed before our eyes, our women have been subjected to inhuman assaults, and our families have been torn apart. These wounds have not healed; the same threats remain before us today.

We Alevi people do not seek hostility, we seek peace. We do not seek revenge, we seek justice. And yes, we seek separation. Because we no longer share any common bond with this society. For our identity, our security, and our future, the Alevi people must establish their own state.

Therefore, we call upon all the nations of the world: the obstacles to the Alevi people’s right to establish their own state must be removed.

Only then can our children grow up in safety, our women live with dignity, and our people no longer be forced to live under the shadow of genocide. This process must proceed through peaceful means, on the basis of human rights and justice.

The Alevi people will take their rightful and honorable place on the world stage.
