We are mourning the loss of former Rep. Mia Love, the first black Republican woman elected to Congress.
“RightNOW Women PAC endorsed and supported Mia Love’s campaign because she upheld the values that we look for – support for conservative principles, individual responsibility, and more,” said RNWP Chair Ariel Guffin. “Mia epitomized the type of candidate we are proud to help get across the finish line on election day.”
“We hope that Mia and her family understand the profound impact that she had on young women,” said Marlene Colucci, RNWP Founder and Board Member. “We will never forget the inspiration she gave not only as the first black woman conservative elected to the Congress but also as a loving mom and symbol of family values, hard work, and perseverance. She will be missed.”

IN THE MEDIA - Our Communications Director, Sue Zoldak, shared her thoughts about the important work groups like RightNOW Women do to help support Republican women running for Congress. Read her thoughts:
"Sue Zoldak, the communications chair for RightNow Women, a group supporting Republican women seeking congressional offices, said women-oriented PACs like hers provide social networking and financial support that can reassure women considering running for office.
'I just think knowing that there’s the structure out there makes people feel safer and just more comfortable putting themselves out there,' Zoldak said, 'because we all know running for office is a tough job.'
She said the success of female candidates is contingent on broader cultural acceptance, with women still often facing questions their male counterparts do not, such as how childcare will affect their work.
'I think as time goes by, we’ll naturally see the increase in female congresswomen start to grow into the increase in female senators,” Zoldak said.'"
Senate GOP has yet to replicate House GOP success in recruiting women The NRCC has pursued a strategy to recruit diverse candidates who can connect with constituents in their districts.

Excited to roll out our next round of 2022 endorsements, starting with…
Lisa Scheller (PA-07)
“RightNOW Women PAC has been on the frontlines of getting Republican women elected,” said Scheller. “I am thrilled to earn their endorsement in one of the most competitive House races in the nation."
“Lisa is a fiscally conservative fighter driven by her passion for creating opportunities for others,” said RightNOW Women PAC Chair, Ariel Judah. “As a manufacturing CEO and founder of Hope & Coffee, which helps those recovering from addiction reenter the community and workforce, her personal story of redemption and resilience will resonate with voters. We are proud to endorse her in Pennsylvania’s 7th congressional district.”
