Zombie mines pollute our waterways and threaten public safety, and it's past time we address them. Proud to introduce a package of bills with Rep. Chris Deluzio and Rep. Don Beyer to strengthen bonding requirements, protect waterways, and ensure that land is fully reclaimed after mining operations end.

Our communities shouldn't face consequences for the actions of coal corporations. Grateful to Appalachian Voices and our partners in this work.

This Memorial Day, we honor the servicemembers and their families who have sacrificed so much for our country. Their service demands that we keep fighting for an inclusive and equitable nation worthy of their courage.

Gun violence is the leading cause of death for kids & teens in America, yet Trump’s ATF is weakening the safeguards meant to keep our communities safe.
