Congratulations to Lila Leisey of ELCO High School for earning first place in this year’s Congressional Art Competition with her piece, Keystone State. Lila’s artwork was an outstanding representation of Pennsylvania’s 9th District during America’s 250th celebration and will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for the next year.

I also want to recognize Karina Aviles of Shenandoah Valley High School for earning second place with How Did We Get Here? and Ariel Hall of Williamsport Area High School for earning third place with Liberty Lives. Karina’s artwork will be displayed in my Washington, D.C. office, while Ariel’s will be showcased in my district office.

Congratulations to Lila, Karina, Ariel, and all of the students who participated. The talent and creativity displayed this year made the competition a tremendous success.

June is National Dairy Month, a time to thank all those who keep dairy products on American tables.

Pennsylvania’s dairy farms generate an estimated $11.1 billion in annual economic activity annually and support more than 46,000 jobs across the industry. This year, Congress passed, and President Trump signed the Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act, which gives schools the option to provide whole and 2% milk to students. I will continue supporting our dairy farmers, producers, and distributors to keep Americans healthy and the industry strong.

Happy Dairy Month and International World Milk Day!

Please join Shelley and I in praying for the family and friends of Officer Kristen Yeager, who was tragically killed in the line of duty while responding to a call on Friday evening.

Our hearts are with Officer Yeager’s family and the entire Central Berks Regional Police Department as they mourn the loss of a dedicated officer.

Every day, law enforcement officers put their lives on the line to protect our communities. Officer Yeager’s service and sacrifice are a solemn reminder of the courage, professionalism, and commitment demonstrated by our law enforcement officers.

Meuser: America’s capital markets are strengthening: Trump Accounts encourage future generations to participate in the gains 05/27/2026

America’s capital markets create wealth on a scale no other nation can match. Trump Accounts will allow more Americans to participate in the growth and success of our economy.

Check out my op-ed on how Trump Accounts will make financial freedom possible for future generations:

Meuser: America’s capital markets are strengthening: Trump Accounts encourage future generations to participate in the gains The American economy has created more wealth, innovation, and opportunity than any nation in history. Today, USDA Secretary Rollins approved a disaster designation for Pennsylvania after the spring freeze impacted local farmers. I recently joined members of the Pennsylvania Congressional delegation in urging Secretary Rollins to approve this designation to ensure affected producers have access to the relief they need to recover.

This designation allows USDA to provide emergency loans to producers recovering from natural disasters. These loans can help replace essential equipment or livestock, reorganize operations, or refinance certain debts.

Producers in Columbia, Luzerne, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Susquehanna, and Wyoming Counties are eligible for this assistance and have until Jan. 26, 2027, to apply.

A great turnout at the Wyoming County Memorial Day Parade today.

After joining the parade, I had the opportunity to address the community, urging everyone to pause and reflect on the sacrifices made by our men and women in uniform to safeguard our way of life.

Thank you to the Dennis Strong American Legion and its members for hosting this great parade and helping our community commemorate Memorial Day.

Since the earliest days of our Republic, 1.3 million Americans have given their lives to preserve the freedoms enshrined in our Constitution and pass on the blessings of liberty to future generations.

As we approach the 250th anniversary of our nation’s independence, we are reminded that America’s freedom has been secured and defended by generations of patriots willing to make the ultimate sacrifice. Pennsylvania has long been home to brave men and women who defended our nation throughout every chapter of our history.

Today and every day, let us honor the sacrifice of those who gave their lives in defense of our nation and recommit ourselves to preserving the freedom and enduring promise of the United States of America for generations to come.

Today, I joined members of the Lycoming County community to begin ceremonies in observance of Memorial Day weekend.

I was deeply moved by how many joined us today, despite the poor weather, to honor those who gave their lives in defense of our country.

Thank you to State Reps. Hamm and Flick, Mayor Slaughter, and Commissioners Metzger and Sortman, for being here to commemorate our fallen heroes.
