Trump is marching us toward another unauthorized war, this time in Cuba.

Congress must reassert its constitutional authority if the President continues on this illegal path.

Today, Rep. Gregory Meeks & I introduced a War Powers Resolution to stop this conflict. No war with Cuba.

UPR is too important to Puerto Rico’s future to be dismantled by austerity.

This week, alongside my colleagues, I urged the Fiscal Oversight Board to reject harmful cuts, protect pensions, cap tuition costs, and invest in public higher education.

The UPR it is a pillar of research, healthcare, culture, and social mobility for Puerto Rico. We must protect it.

Yesterday, I introduced a War Powers Resolution to end Trump’s war with Iran.

The president has no authority to launch our country into another reckless war in the Middle East. Congress must reclaim its constitutional authority and stop this escalation before it spirals further.

Today and I introduced the Investing in the American Dream Act to reverse Trump’s ban on SBA loans for green card holders.

As tariffs & Trump’s trade wars devastate small biz, the SBA should be helping small firms access capital, not punishing the entrepreneurs that make of the backbone of the economy.

At this week’s briefing with the FOMB, I joined Executive Director Robert Mujica to discuss the urgent status of PREPA’s restructuring, the need to fully fund the University of Puerto Rico, and move the island out of bankruptcy.

And I made a point very clear—as PREPA works towards an agreement, Puerto Ricans should not be forced to shoulder billions in costs through higher energy rates just to satisfy bondholders. We must prioritize affordable, reliable electricity for families and businesses across the island.
