Today, we reflect and remember the immense loss of life 9 years ago at Pulse nightclub. 49 beautiful souls were robbed of their futures by a gunman armed with an assault rifle, and 53 others were injured. This doesn’t include the many, many survivors that witnessed such a nightmare, and lost friends and partners. Many to this day suffer the after effects of that tragic experience. As a community we stand together and focus on those lost and those impacted as we continue our critical work on gun safety reform. We hope you stay involved with us.

Today is the day! We have the opportunity to participate in democracy and cast our ballots for the candidates we think we represent us best at the local, state and federal level. And remember we aren’t just voting for ourselves and our passions and needs. We are voting for our friends and families best interests and those less fortunate than us. We are voting for a better America for all. Think of how your vote affects other people. This a privilege many people around the world don’t have. Let’s all make today count. This is likely the most important election for at least a generation, if not longer. Get out and vote, and encourage your friends and family to as well. Tonight, remember it could be a long process since the race is so close. And don’t be surprised if Trump declares victory when he doesn’t have enough votes to make that call. He will try to cause chaos like he normally does. Democracy will prevail.
