ELC serves as a trusted guide, helping residents understand their options and connect to existing resources for probate support, legal assistance, tax relief, aging-in-place renovations, property planning, and wealth preservation — without duplicating services.

The Elevation “Legacy Counseling” and “Legacy Project” concepts were born from more than 25 years of operating CBS Design Development Group, LLC, a custom residential remodeling company serving Washington, DC.
In my movements through DC’s 8 Wards and neighborhoods, I consistently observed a troubling pattern. Older homeowners, most often women who outlived their spouses, making uninformed decisions about their homes.
Unfortunately, many of these decisions unintentionally reduce their ability to pass on generational wealth, limiting the legacy they hoped to leave for their families. Instead they leave burdens….
Elevation Legacy Counseling exists to solve this problem!!!
