Through H.R. 8646, the Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agency Appropriations Act of 2027, Republicans are making critical investments in American agriculture, continuing to fund broadband expansion programs, and providing funding for critical community projects in districts like mine.

I am proud to support it and urge the House to pass it to benefit Buckeye families, farmers, and businesses.

I was honored to join Clermont County Sheriff Chris Stratton, County Prosecutor Mark Tekulve, Commissioner David Painter, Coroner Brian Treon, and Chief Coroner’s Investigator Ken Mullis recently to share how the Sheriff Department’s SAFE Unit expansion will help combat crime across our region.

My office has been working to secure $1 million in community project funding for this critical lab to enable law enforcement to solve crimes faster through quicker digital forensics processing and data analysis.

The SAFE Unit will get dangerous criminals off our streets, equip law enforcement with the tools they need to do their jobs, and ensure our southern Ohio is a safe place to live and raise a family for generations to come!

This weekend I sat down with sheriffs and police chiefs from across OH-02 to hear about the needs they’re seeing in our community and discuss how we can best serve southern Ohio’s most vulnerable counties.

I will always Back the Blue, fight to equip the hardworking men and women of our law enforcement with the tools they need to do their jobs, and help ensure our communities are safe places to live and raise a family for generations to come.

It was an honor attending SpringFest 2026 at the Chillicothe VA this weekend, an event dedicated to raising awareness for su***de prevention and supporting Ohio veterans.

I appreciated visiting with Director Mortimer, the dedicated VA staff, community partners, and the many veterans and families who joined together for this event.

In Congress, I’m committed to ensuring veterans receive the resources and support they have earned from serving our country. I look forward to continuing to partner with each community leader who continues working to care for our nation’s heroes!

Yesterday I met with Distribution Center Manager Courtney Thomas and her team at the Polaris Distribution Center in Wilmington.

This site serves as a hub for Polaris’s Parts, Garments, and Accessories operations, helping distribute products to dealers and customers efficiently.

In Congress, I’m working to advance common sense policies that support businesses like this one as they maintain a central role in our communities.

This week I received a tour of Oak Chips Inc. and heard from Todd, Amy, and Jake Nathan about the role this business plays in our local, national, and global economy.

A multi-generational family business, Oak Chips Inc. specializes in oak alternatives for winemakers and ships their products around the world.

This is just one of the many amazing small businesses Ohio is proud to be home to, and it was great seeing exactly where the magic happens! In Congress, I will continue advocating for conservative policies that enable our local businesses to thrive.

Thanks to Superintendent Aaron Buckler and Waste Water Supervisor Jesse Conaway for the tour of Waverly Waste Water Treatment Plant!

With the county’s growing population, there is a notable need for updated critical infrastructure like this facility.

I appreciated connecting with leadership about the issues they’re seeing and will continue pushing in Congress to ensure our communities have the funding and support they need to keep critical systems operating efficiently.

For 102 years, the men and women protecting our border have stood on the front lines, protecting our nation from bad actors, stopping the flow of fentanyl at the source, and enforcing our nation’s immigration laws.

In Congress, I’ve been proud to work alongside President Trump and Republicans to equip our border agents with the tools, resources, and support they need to do their jobs effectively.

I will always have the backs of our border agents, and I am grateful for the many ways their service has made communities across our nation safer places for American families to live.

It was great stopping by Garnet Wilson Library to drop off food and socks for Pike County Homeless Shelter!

We’re grateful to the incredible people and programs looking out for Buckeyes right here in our own backyard.
