First and foremost, I would like to thank all the families that have been patient and kind throughout this process of figuring out the bus system. Yesterday night had a meeting about how our transportation is functioning, what are the next steps and also how we handle issues through the departments. Below I have added Durham’s number:

Please note: that in order for them to address any issues they need the route of the bus which can be found on the app. If the Durham does not follow up the next step is to call the transportation liaison at 203-346-3511

As we begin to welcome our new COO at the BOE. I must say I have been privileged to know Nick Albini. A wonderful human in every way. I will miss seeing him every meeting and I’m so glad we are only a call or text away ✨💛 happy retirement to the man, the myth, the legend.

Hi everyone this is a reminder that on April 2nd at 5:30 PM the BOE will be having our Workshop meeting at the RC Dual Language School. And on April 16th at WAM at 5:30 is our regular BOE meeting. Public Speaking is a available for both meetings. Finally I am sharing a scholarship opportunity for high school seniors please share!

A beautiful evening yesterday with Greater Litchfield County Young Democrats. Prior to running and during they were the group that I leaned on. They came out, knocked on doors, and made calls. We all supported each other.

As the youngest Board of Education Commissioner, I am beyond proud that I get to serve my beautiful City of Waterbury.

And a major shout out to our our supporters that are constantly mentoring us young folks to get involved.
