As the Key Club adviser at Westerville South, I inherited this great event from Lauren Ryan, a wonderful colleague of mine. She started this dinner years ago to recognize our local veterans around Veterans Day and our club is proud to keep it going. This year was extra special as I passed off hosting duties to our club officers and put on my Vice Mayor hat. I presented a proclamation to Gary Swank in recognition of his dedication to local veterans events. He accepted on behalf of all local veterans in recognition of their contributions to our community. It's always such a great night!

At Westerville South High School's 11th annual Veteran Appreciation Dinner on October 19, Vice Mayor Kelley Stocker presented an official Proclamation celebrating VFW Post 7883 and American Legion Post 171 for their community support.
