Fun fact: This page started in 2018, when our campaign came just 50 votes shy of unseating Dutra.

Eight years later, our community showed up in a big way—more than doubling turnout and electing a City Council that truly reflects the Whittier of today and tomorrow.

Whittier elected a Latino-majority council for the first time in the city's history. But for the three winning Latino candidates, their ethnicity was an afterthought.

This is our moment.

It’s time for new leadership that reflects the needs of our community.

✔️ Save our trees
✔️ Protect our immigrant communities
✔️ Enough with the old guard and backward politics

Let’s be clear: it’s time to tell our current all-MAGA council that their time is up.

Vote Vicky Santana, James Becerra for Mayor, and Aida Mecedo.

🗳️ April 14 — Don’t sit this one out.
