Something about Elijah’s story completely changed the way I look at people who are struggling.

When Elijah reached his breaking point, God didn’t send someone to lecture him.

He didn’t say,
“You need more faith.”
“You need to pray harder.”
“You shouldn’t feel this way.”

God met him in his exhaustion.

He let him sleep.
He gave him food.
He gave him water.
He gave him what he needed before asking him to keep going.

And I think there’s a lesson in that for all of us.

Not everyone who is struggling needs advice.
Not everyone needs a Bible verse thrown at them.
Not everyone needs you to explain what they should be doing differently.

Sometimes they need someone to sit beside them.

To listen.
To bring dinner.
To let them cry.
To remind them they’re loved.
To help carry what feels too heavy to carry alone.

Sometimes the most Christ-like thing you can do isn’t preach.

It’s simply stay. 🤍

Think about your relationship with Christ. Where have you seen him give you strength, courage, or victory, —especially when you felt unqualified or afraid?

Before the noise of the day begins, there’s something special about turning our thoughts to God, and starting our day with Him.
How blessed are we that we can bring Him our plans for the day and ask Him to order our steps?
We can bring Him our worries and anxieties, our hopes and dreams, and any uncertainty or unfinished thing before us. Then we can move into the day watching expectantly for His hand at work. Walking with confidence because we know He walks before us.

Lord, thank you for meeting us here in the quiet of this morning. I give You everything this day may hold and trust You to walk with me through it. In Jesus' name, amen.🙏

Good Morning, friends!☀️☕️
Have a wonderful day.
Much love,
