Not everything in the sewer system moves by gravity alone.

Pump stations play an important role in keeping wastewater moving through the collection system when changes in elevation make gravity flow insufficient. From there, wastewater continues on its way toward treatment.

Water towers do more than store water. Their elevated design helps maintain steady pressure throughout the water distribution system while also providing additional supply during periods of higher demand.

They play an important role in helping keep water moving reliably throughout the community.

Small changes in the bathroom can add up to meaningful water savings. 💧

Take shorter showers, turn off the tap while brushing your teeth, and choose water-efficient fixtures when possible.

Every drop counts.

WMUA Administrative Office Temporarily Closed

The Willingboro Municipal Utilities Authority (WMUA) announces that its administrative office will be temporarily closed to the public effective August 21, 2026, until further notice.

The closure is necessary to complete Phase 2 of the Authority's mold remediation and building restoration project, which includes the replacement of damaged walls, flooring, and other building materials removed during the initial remediation phase.

During this period:
- In-person customer service will be temporarily unavailable.

- Customer service representatives will remain available by phone and email during normal business hours.

- Online payments will continue to be accepted.

- Checks and money orders may be deposited in the overnight payment drop box.

- Cash payments will be temporarily suspended until the administrative office reopens.

This project is limited to the administrative building and does not affect drinking water quality, wastewater treatment operations, or utility services. Water and sewer services will remain fully operational throughout the closure.

The Authority anticipates that the administrative office will remain closed for approximately one month, although the reopening date will depend on project progress and completion. Additional updates will be provided as they become available.

We appreciate the patience, understanding, and cooperation of our customers and community as we complete these necessary improvements to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for employees and visitors.
