LeAnn Pierce for County Commissioner voted for New Hanover County’s 2026–27 budget that kept the county property tax rate unchanged at 30.6 cents per $100 of assessed value while continuing to invest in schools and public safety.

That is a concrete example of her commitment to keeping our community affordable.

Make your plan to vote! Early voting runs October 15–31, and New Hanover County voters can vote at any of these five locations:

📍 Board of Elections Office
226 Government Center Drive, Wilmington

📍 Carolina Beach Town Hall — Police Training Room
1121 N. Lake Park Blvd., Carolina Beach

📍 MLK Community Center — Multipurpose Room
401 S. 8th Street, Wilmington

📍 Northeast Library — David M. Paynter Room
1241 Military Cutoff Road, Wilmington

📍 Pine Valley Library — Pelican and Osprey Rooms
3802 S. College Road, Wilmington

🕒 Hours at all five locations:
• Monday–Friday: 8 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
• October 24–25: Noon–5 p.m.
• October 31: 8 a.m.–3 p.m.
• CLOSED October 17–18.

✅ NOT REGISTERED? YOU CAN STILL REGISTER AND VOTE!

Eligible residents can register and vote during the same visit at any early voting location. Bring proof of your current residence such as a current utility bill, bank statement, or paycheck showing your name and address, and an acceptable photo ID. A current NC driver’s license showing your current address can serve both purposes.

📅 October 9: Regular voter registration deadline, 5 p.m.
📅 October 15: Early voting begins.
📅 October 20: Absentee ballot request deadline, 5 p.m.
📅 October 31: Early voting ends, 3 p.m.
📅 November 3: Election Day, 6:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m.

Miss the October 9 deadline? Eligible voters can still register and vote during early voting.
