Miss New Hanover County was so incredibly thankful for the opportunity to sing at the Rwanda & Company dinner. Rwanda & Company is doing such meaningful work to help children and families in Rwanda providing vulnerable children with opportunities to attend school, access basic necessities, and build a brighter future.
This organization holds a very special place in her heart because she's had the privilege of personally supporting a young girl through her education as she pursues her dream of becoming a pharmacist. What started as an opportunity to help support her education has grown into a friendship they treasure.
They stay closely connected and continue to encourage one another from across the miles.
Watching her work toward her dreams is such a beautiful reminder of how far an opportunity and a little support can go.
As Miss New Hanover County, Rachel is incredibly grateful for opportunities to use her voice and her platform to support causes that make a lasting difference. Getting to sing at this dinner and be surrounded by people who believe in investing in the next generation was truly special.
