This evening, our on-duty crew battled the wind with our large ladder flag to recognize the Holmes-Wayne Honor Bus veterans as they returned from their 3-day trip to Washington, D.C. The trip is sponsored by Holmes-Wayne Electric Cooperative, Inc. It was an honor to show our respect for these veterans, and we thank them for their service to our country. Also, thank you to Leppo Equipment for allowing us to use their lot to set up the flag.

The Wooster Div. of Fire has placed into service and trained with a new nozzle designed for electric vehicle fires. The nozzle was donated by a generous community member who wishes to remain anonymous but cares deeply about the safety of the community. The donation is greatly appreciated.
