2020 has been a Challenging year; we witnessed a crash in the economy and changes in our income, lost friends, family, and loved ones due to the pandemic. We alienated ourselves from the world, also changed our schedules and lifestyle. Despite all these adversities, we found HOPE and EMPATHY. We were motivated to support local businesses in our communities, be there for family and friends but most importantly we were our neighbor's keeper. 2021 is a Breakthrough YEAR and LOOKs more promising than ever!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR 2021!!!!!!!!!!!

St. John’s Food for the Poor program “prevents homelessness as much as it feeds the homeless,” said Rev. John Madden, of St. John’s Catholic Church. The busy soup kitchen at St. John’s, St. Francis Xavier Center, is One of the busiest restaurants in the city is tucked beneath the railroad overpass next to St. John’s Church at 44 Temple St. I had the opportunity to work with amazing chefs like Mike, Bob and Sherri and On the menu today we had oatmeal, toasted bagel and cream cheese, fresh-cut fruits and vegetables, eggs daily, with bacon on Wednesdays; and depending on the day, prime rib, chicken, turkey, Jambalaya, chicken noodle soup, hot dogs, banana Oreo pudding, granola bars, pastries, birthday cake and more... St. John’s Food for the Poor Program assists low income families, seniors, the homeless, and other needy people. The food pantry provides over 4,800 to-go meals each year in addition to small food boxes as part of our mobile outreach. The Worcester Public Market is a multi-vendor, food-oriented marketplace in the European tradition, featuring street-oriented business of various stripes, a small-merchant market floor, the foodie-heaven Market Pantry, and a vibrant food court with a seamless connection to the social and gustatory pleasures of the Wachusett Brew Yard. My favorite restaurant is the Akraeatery. gives a modern twist to traditional west African Meals and my favorite is the special bowl, and don’t forget the dizzle on the top. Located in Worcester’s resurgent Canal District, the market sits right on legendary Kelley Square, just a few seconds from Interstate 290, a minute walk from the Worcester Red Sox Stadium and a world away from the ordinary. Parking is abundant, and street life abounds. The district is home to the adjacent, mixed-use Crompton Building and offers visitors literally dozens of restaurants, bars, and eclectic retail establishments. The Worcester Public Market is a Must Visit!!!
