While the formal 100th Anniversary events for the year have ended for the Mohegan Council with a Centennial Gala at Mechanics Hall, the adventure is just beginning. It's now time to begin another 100 years of scouting!
Scouts hold their centennial gala The Mohegan Council of the Boy Scouts of America held its 100th anniversary gala and auction Thursday at Mechanics Hall.
Boy Scouts win Christopher Columbus Award at the 2010 Columbus Day Parade in Worcester. The yearlong centennial celebration continues!!! Nice job scouts.
Columbus Day parade draws hundreds to Shrewsbury Street Led by the South High Community marching band, the 16th annual Columbus Day parade went off down Shrewsbury Street this afternoon. More than 80 different groups and 10 floats also made their way from Aitchison Street to Union Station. The parade marshal was local businessman John D'Iorio.
