A late-night intro to campaigning (and me!)

Come join a great team!

Mark your calendars, Wyoming! 🍩🍎

Next Tuesday, we’re bringing Donuts & C***r to Palmer Park, and this time we’ve got some friends joining us!

Daniel Rivera for Wyoming City Council , Cassandra Kawka-Vlahos for Wyoming City Council, Kent County Commissioner Nancy Morales and John Fitzgerald for State Representative will all be there. Come grab a donut and some c***r, bring the family, and spend a little time with us. Ask questions, tell us what’s on your mind, or just stop by and say hello.

We’re getting closer and closer to November 3, and this is the time to get out, get involved and get to know the people who want to serve you.

Bring a friend, bring the kids, bring your questions. We’ll bring the donuts. 💙🍩

Thank you to everyone who stopped by Marge's to have a donut, say hello, ask a question, or sit down and talk with me today!

I had conversations with 15 neighbors this morning, and my notebook became a whole lot fuller than it arrived! We talked about everything from traffic signals and road projects to neighborhood signs, accessibility, housing, public works, communication from the city, and ways neighbors can better connect with one another.

And that's exactly why I wanted to do this.

Sitting across a table, listening, asking questions, sharing experiences, and writing things down is exactly how we start amazing projects, ideas, and dreams.

A huge thank you to for welcoming me and giving us a place to have these conversations. And thank you, again, to everyone who took time out of their morning to stop by and have a sweet treat. If you didn't get a chance, I will definitely find time again soon for another meet up!

I've got some homework to do now. 😉

Come chat with me and enjoy all the sweets and coffee at Marge's Donut Den this Friday, September 25 from 8am to 11am!

I am incredibly honored to have the endorsement of Abbie Groff-Blaszak

Throughout this wild adventure of running for City Council, Abbie has been someone I can learn from, ask questions of, and look to as an example of what it means to stay grounded in your values while doing the hard work of earning your community's trust.

Having someone I respect so much turn around and say, “I believe in you, too” means more than I can adequately put into words.

Thank you, Abbie, for your encouragement, your mentorship, and your trust in me. I'm so grateful to have your support as I work to bring more transparency, consistency, connection, and accountability to Wyoming City Council.

And I'm pretty darn excited to keep cheering you on, too. 💛

THE SIGNS ARE HERE! 💙💛

If you'd like a Cassandra Kawka-Vlahos for City Council sign in your yard, send me a message and I'll get one to you!
Yard signs are free, but if you'd like to make a suggested $10 contribution to help cover the cost of signs and keep this grassroots campaign moving, I would be incredibly grateful!!

Every yard that welcomes my name means more times i get to explain and pronounce it 😉. Lol! This campaign has always been about neighbors, conversations, connection, and believing we can make local government work better for the people it serves.

Who you gonna Kaw? KAWKA-VLAHOS! Lol

The website is LIVE!

If you've been following along, cheering me on, signing my
petition, sharing a post, or simply believing in what I'm trying to build for Wyoming, thank you. It means more than you know.

If you're able to donate or chip in (even the cost of a cup of coffee, lol) it truly helps. And if donating isn't possible right now, sharing my website with your friends and family is just as valuable.

Also, feel free to take a look around my website! It shares who I am, why I'm running, and the kind of leadership I hope to bring to Wyoming; built on transparency, consistency, and connection.

Thank you for believing in this adventure with me. I promise to keep showing up, listening, and working hard every step of the way.

💙 Cassie
