The Lower Makefield Township Police Department consists of 39 sworn police officers and 4 civilian personnel. Lower Makefield Township Police Department is an accredited law enforcement agency that provides police services to the residents of Lower Makefield Township

A huge thank you to Yardley-Makefield EMS for hosting our Police Explorers this evening.
Tonight’s training provided our Explorers with a unique opportunity to experience hands-on, real-world EMS operations and gain a deeper understanding of the vital role emergency medical services play in protecting our community. Through practical exercises and interactive instruction, our Explorers learned valuable skills while seeing firsthand the teamwork, professionalism, and dedication required in emergency response.

FRAUD:
5800 block of Spruce Mill Dr. reported at 5:37PM. Complainant reported being a victim of a scam on Facebook Marketplace. The scammer, posing as a Venmo representative, gained access to the victim's bank account and stole $1,260.00. Investigation ongoing.
Unit block of St. James Pl. reported at 8:46PM. Complainant reported receiving a call from a blocked number claiming to be from the Sheriff's department. They told the victim they had a summons for arrest due to missed jury duty and demanded a $14,000 bond. The victim was instructed to transfer money into a bitcoin account, resulting in a loss of $6,000. Investigation ongoing.
DUI ARREST – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Shop Rite reported at 9:32PM. Police responded to the report of a subject passed out in the fire lane of the shopping center for several hours. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 42 year old male driver from Cherry Hill, NJ for Driving Under the Influence. He was taken into police custody. He was arraigned by Judge Barton and sent to BCCF in lieu of $10,000/10% bail.

CREDIT CARD FRAUD – 300 block of Hidden Oaks Dr. reported at 7:45PM. Complainant reported unauthorized use of their credit card in the amount of $2,900.61.
DUI ARREST – Woodside Rd. & Clearview Dr. reported at 11:34PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 55 year old male driver from Newtown, PA for Driving Under the Influence.

IDENTITY THEFT – 300 block of Hidden Oaks Dr. reported at 7:45PM. Complainant reported unknown person(s) opened a credit card in their name and charged $2,900.61 without their permission.
DUI ARREST – Big Oak Rd. & Knightsbridge Dr. reported at 9:44PM. Police on patrol observed a disabled vehicle at the location. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 24 year old male driver from LMT for Driving Under the Influence.
DRUG ARREST – 500 block of W. Trenton Ave. reported at 11:41PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 43 year old male driver from Levittown, PA for Possession of Crystal M**h and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was taken into police custody.

Congratulations, Council Rock Class of 2026!
The Lower Makefield Township Police Explorer Unit would like to congratulate all of the graduates from both Council Rock North and Council Rock South. It was an honor for our Explorers to participate in and support today’s ceremonies.
A special spotlight goes to our own Explorer Kieran Ward, who graduated today and will be attending Penn State University, where he has been accepted into the NROTC Program.
Throughout his time with the Explorer Unit, Kieran has demonstrated outstanding leadership, professionalism, and dedication to service.
We are incredibly proud of Kieran and wish him nothing but success as he begins his journey toward becoming a future Marine Corps Officer.

THEFT – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Shop Rite reported at 2:47PM. Complainant reported receiving a text message from who they believed to be their boss instructing them to purchase a $250 Xbox gift card. After providing the unknown person with the gift card information, they realized it was a scam.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 700 block of Stony Hill Rd. at Artis Senior Living reported at 9:01AM. Complainant reported unknown person(s) keyed their vehicle.
WANTED PERSON – 1700 block of Janney Ln. reported at 10:46AM. Complainant reported a wanted person near the community pool. A records check revealed the 45 year old female from LMT was wanted by the Bucks County Sheriffs. She was taken into police custody.
DRUG ARREST – Oxford Valley Rd. & Big Oak Rd. reported at 3:57PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the discovery of a small amount of ma*****na, two bundles of he**in and drug paraphernalia. The 25 year old male from Langhorne, PA was taken into police custody and charged with False ID to Law Enforcement, Possession of He**in, Possession of Ma*****na, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and related charges.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS – Edgewood Rd. & Makefield Rd. reported at 6:53AM. Police responded to the report of an intoxicated male who walked away from his residence. Police located the male holding and drinking an open can of alcohol and a backpack filled with more. The 27 year old male from LMT was cited for Public Drunkenness.
SOLICITING WITHOUT PERMIT – 2200 block of Stackhouse Dr. reported at 6:23PM. Complainant reported a solicitor for Ecoshield Pest Solutions soliciting without a permit. They were advised to cease soliciting until a permit was obtained.

RETAIL THEFTS:
1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Kohl’s reported at 1:25PM. Loss Prevention reported a retail theft in progress. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 46 year old female from Trenton, NJ for taking $1,388.91 worth of merchandise without paying. She was taken into police custody. She was arraigned by District Justice Kronnagel and released on $5,000.00 unsecured bail.
1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Shop Rite reported at 3:36PM. Loss Prevention reported on 6/7, an unknown male entered the store and removed $849.88 worth of steaks and crab meat without paying. Investigation ongoing.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT – Lakeshore Dr. & Harvey Ave. reported at 1:06PM. Police responded to the report of two unknown males walking to the lake, smoking ma*****na. Further investigation led to the discovery of a small amount of ma*****na. The 35 year old male from Trenton, NJ was cited for Disorderly Conduct.
IDENTITY THEFT – 300 block of Ramsey Rd. reported at 5:10PM. Complainant reported unknown person(s) filed taxes in their name.

DRUG ARREST – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. in Shop Rite’s parking lot reported at 5:02PM. Police responded to the report of a suspicious vehicle at the location. Further investigation led to the discovery of 210 bags of He**in, 13 bags of Crack Co***ne, and 5 Oxycodone pills in plain view in the cup holder on the center console. The male was in possession of $930.00. The vehicle was towed to police impound and a search warrant was executed. The 25 year old male from Trenton, NJ was arrested for Possession With Intent to Distribute. He was arraigned by District Justice Jonas and sent to BCCF in lieu if $250,000/10% bail.

Unit block of S. Homestead Dr. reported at 12:30AM. Police responded to the report of a suspicious person standing at the end of their driveway for an extended period. Further investigation led to the 33 year old male from LMT being cited for Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkenness.
Edgewood Rd. & Matthew Dr. reported at 2:45AM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation revealed both occupants had been drinking and police located a small amount of ma*****na in the vehicle. The 20 year old male driver and the 19 year old male passenger from LMT were cited for Disorderly Conduct and Underage Drinking.
