Calling all USVI construction partners!
The Consigli/Benton Joint Venture is looking to partner with DBE, M/WBE and local firms across the USVI on ongoing critical projects including Charlotte Amalie High School, Central High School, Bertha C. Boschulte PreK-8 and Charles Harwood Memorial Complex.
As a team committed to building within our own communities, we’re focused on creating opportunities for island-based partners to help shape these important projects.

Craftsmanship that lasts is built through experience, trust, and strong local partnerships.
Today, J. Benton Construction is proud to recognize Instrument & Control System Inc., a valued 36 year old island-based subcontractor and longtime partner whose technical expertise helps strengthen the quality of our work.
ICS recently supported the successful completion of multiple electrical underground and vertical building projects. Their skill, reliability, and commitment to the details are part of the value they continue to bring to J. Benton and to the projects we deliver.
For 20 years, we have worked alongside local subcontractors who help us build throughout the Virgin Islands. These partnerships are a major part of our success, and we are grateful for the skilled professionals who continue to help us build work that lasts.

Today, we honor and remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.
Memorial Day is a time to pause with gratitude, respect, and reflection. Their sacrifice has shaped the freedoms, opportunities, and communities we continue to build upon.
We remember their service. We honor their courage.

Not all buildings age the same.
Some projects look strong on the day they are turned over, but the real measure of quality is how they look years later.
This building stands as a reminder that good work endures. The details still feel intentional. The structure still feels cared for. The finished product still reflects the level of craftsmanship that went into it from the beginning.
At J. Benton Construction, we believe a project should look as good today as it did the day it was completed.
That is the standard we build toward.

The new Tropical Shipping facility on St. Croix is complete.
Built to support cargo operations and the movement of goods across the Virgin Islands, this facility plays an important role in the logistics network our businesses, residents, and communities rely on every day.
From site development through structural ex*****on, each phase required coordination, planning, and careful attention to the needs of the client. The result is a facility designed to help teams work more efficiently, reinforce critical infrastructure, and sustain long‑term operational success.
Projects like this remind us that construction is not only about the building itself. It is about what that building makes possible for the territory.

Safety Week may be ending, but the commitment continues every day on site.
This week reinforced the importance of recognizing hazards, responding with intention, and respecting the processes that protect our teams. These are not one-time reminders. They are daily practices that shape how work gets done across every project.
Safer jobsites are built through planning, communication, consistency, and accountability. When those standards are carried into the field every day, they protect our people, strengthen our teams, and support better outcomes for the communities we serve.
Safety is not a campaign. It is how we work.

Welcome to Safety Week 2026.
At J. Benton Construction, safety is not just a requirement; it's a priority. It is a responsibility we carry into every jobsite, every plan, and every decision.
This year’s theme, Recognize and Respond, reminds us that identifying a hazard is only the first step. What protects the team is what happens next: speaking up, adjusting the plan, putting the right controls in place, and making sure everyone understands the safest path forward.
Safety is active. It is intentional. It is how we protect our people and strengthen the work we do every day.
