لاول مرة حكومة الاقليم تعلن تعطيل الدوام الرسمي في المحافظات الشمالية تضامناً مع المحافظات الوسط و الجنوب .. الله يديم المحبة العراقية من أقصى الشمال إلى أقصى الجنوب

في الذكرى 33 للغدر ممن يجري الغدر في عروقهم و تربوا عليه و الوجه الاخر الاكثر قبحاً من داعsh المتخفي بلباس المظلومية القومية و هم مستعدين ان ينقضوا على الشعب الذي يدعون الدفاع عنهم للشهيد " فرنسيس يوسف شابو " في نوهدرا ( دهوك ) .. كتب الصديق و الرفيق السكرتير العام للحركة الديمقراطية الاشورية " يعقوب كوركيس ياقو "

هي نفس اليد التي ضغطت على الزناد واغتالت الشهيد فرنسيس والشهيد بيرس وغيرهم العشرات من الشهداء الخالدين.

هي نفس اليد التي استولت على الأراضي، وتجاوزت على القرى في نالا وزاخو وصبنا والعمادية وبرور عليتا والمناطق الأخرى، وخططت ونفذت التغيير الديموغرافي في عنكاوا وغيرها، واعتبرت أرضنا غنيمة يسيل لها لعاب الجشع والسياسة، وليست وطناً يحمل إرثنا وتاريخنا.

هي نفس اليد التي رسمت السيناريوهات وصنعت الممثلين والقرقوزات السياسية ووضعتها في الواجهة السياسية وفرضتهم على شعبنا ممثلين عنه ورغماً عن إرادته.

هي نفس اليد التي تنصلت عن مفاهيم التآخي والشراكة السياسية الحقيقية وحق شعبنا في الوجود، وصنعت الحناجر والأبواق، لتشهد شهادة الزور وتحرف الحقائق.

هي نفس اليد التي وضعت الأصبع على الزناد هناك، والأصوات في صناديق الاقتراع هنا، لتسرق إرادة شعبنا، وتولد لنا ابناء من رحم غريب وتلصقهم بنا.

هي نفس اليد التي تلقفت مساعدات شعبنا ايام الشدة والضيق، أيام الكفاح والتضحية، لترد له الجميل بوضعه في الضيق والشدة ومصادرة إرادته وسلبه ارضه والتستر على قتلة شبابه الخ الخ …

تنسى يميننا يسارنا إن نسينا او سكتنا او تقاعسنا او تخاذلنا او ساومنا .. سنبقى نتذكر ونسير على ذات النهج إلى إن ينال شعبنا الكلداني السرياني الآشوري حقه المشروع ويصون وجوده على ارضه التاريخية.

On the 33rd anniversary of the treachery perpetrated by those whose veins run with treachery, who were raised on it, and the other, even uglier face of ISIS, disguised in the garb of nationalist oppression, while they are ready to pounce on the very people they claim to defend, the martyr Francis Yousef Shabo in Nohadra (Duhok) was assassinated. My friend and comrade, the Secretary-General of the Assyrian Democratic Movement, Yaqoub Korkis Yaqo, wrote:

It is the same hand that pulled the trigger and assassinated the martyr Francis, the martyr Peres, and dozens of other immortal martyrs.

It is the same hand that seized lands, encroached upon villages in Nala, Zakho, Sabna, Amadiya, Barwar Alita, and other areas, and planned and implemented demographic change in Ankawa and elsewhere. They considered our land spoils of war, coveted by greed and political ambition, not a homeland that holds our heritage and history.

It is the same hand that crafted the scenarios, created the political actors and puppets, placed them at the forefront of the political scene, and imposed them upon our people as their representatives against their will.

It is the same hand that disavowed the concepts of brotherhood, genuine political partnership, and our people's right to exist, and instead created voices and mouthpieces to bear false witness and distort the truth.

It is the same hand that pulled the trigger there and manipulated the ballot boxes here, stealing the will of our people and giving birth to foreign offspring, forcing them upon us.

It is the same hand that received aid from our people during times of hardship and distress, during times of struggle and sacrifice, only to repay them by subjecting them to further hardship and distress, confiscating their will, seizing their land, and covering up for the murderers of their youth, and so on…

Our right hand will forget our left if we forget, remain silent, become complacent, falter, or compromise… We will continue to remember and follow the same path until our Chaldean-Syriac-Assyrian people attain their legitimate rights and preserve their existence on their historical land.

رسالة مفتوحة إلى غبطة البطريرك الجديد للكنيسة الكلدانية

إلى سيادة البطريرك الجديد للكنيسة الكلدانية، نتوجه إليكم بهذه الرسالة بصفتنا الممثلين لنبض الشارع لأكبر تجمع كلداني كاثوليكي في العراق، وهي مدينة عنكاوا الصامدة.

إن أمام سيادتكم مساراً شائكاً ومعقداً إن أردتم ردم الصدع العميق الذي خلفه سلفكم، البطريرك لويس ساكو؛ الذي اتخذ مواقف مناهضة تماًماً لأهالي عنكاوا في كل منعطف تاريخي حاربوا فيه الفساد والخراب الممنهج الذي طال البلدة على يد الحزب الديمقراطي الكردستاني وقياداته وأدواته المحلية. لقد توج سلفكم تلك السياسة العدائية بطعن رعيته في الظهر وتركهم لمصيرهم، بل وتمادى باتهامهم بكونهم المتسببين في الفساد والخراب الذي حل بالبلدة، مجاملاً سلطات الإقليم على حساب كرامة شعبه.

إن تاريخ الكنيسة الكلدانية ومكانتها الروحية في وجدان أهالي عنكاوا، والتي رسخها العظماء من المطارنة الأجلاء القدامى، أمثال مار اسطيفان بابكة ومار حنا مرخو، قد تزعزعت بشكل خطير في نفوس الأجيال الجديدة. إذ فتحت هذه الأجيال أعينها، بعد حقبة هؤلاء الطاهرين، على مجموعة من المطارنة الذين لا يضعون رعاياهم في أدنى سلم اهتماماتهم. ولا يزال أهالي عنكاوا يستذكرون كيف رفض المطران والكهنة كافة مشاركة جموع المؤمنين في مظاهرات عام 2015 المنددة بالفساد، ولم يشذ عن ذلك الخذلان سوى كاهنين من أبناء البلدة دفعتهما غيرتهما على أرضهما للانتفاض خلافاً لرغبة المطران؛ الذي آثر مجاملة سلطات الإقليم والصمت، حتى في وقت تعرضت فيه جدران مطرانيته للتدنيس من قبل السكارا الغرباء القادمين للعربدة في البلدة دون رادع.

نحيط سيادتكم علماً بأن البلدة باتت تضم قرابة 100 بؤرة غير قانونية لممارسات لا أخلاقية متغلغلة بين الأحياء السكنية، وذلك تحت حماية مباشرة من الحزب الديمقراطي الكردستاني—ذات الحزب الذي بادرتم بمدح قياداته قبل فترة وجيزة. وفي المقابل، يعمل أزلام هذا الحزب في البلدة على قطع أرزاق المواطنين وترهيبهم عبر الأجهزة الأمنية (الآسايش) لكل من يجرؤ على رفع صوته بالحق، مما أجبر الجميع على الكتابة بأسماء مستعارة في صفحتنا خشية البطش الأمني. علاوة على ذلك، تُنهب أراضي البلدة التي تُقدر بمئات الدونمات بشكل يومي من قبل السلطات والمتنفذين في الإقليم، بينما يُدفع شبابنا نحو الهجرة القسرية بعد وضعهم بين خيارين لا ثالث لهما: إما التخلي عن كرامتهم والتملق للجهات التي يفرضها الحزب الديمقراطي الكردستاني كأوصياء علينا لتأمين قوت يومهم، أو الرحيل؛ مما أدى إلى إفراغ البلدة من طاقتها الشبابية.

نرفع لسيادتكم هذه الرسالة بشكل رسمي، وسنضمن وصولها إليكم شخصياً، لقطع أي ذريعة بعدم المعرفة، ولتتحملوا مسؤولية قراراتكم المستقبلية على بينة وإدراك تامين للواقع المرير. إن أمام غبطتكم اختباراً عسيراً لإعادة كسب ثقة آخر معقل للكاثوليكية الكلدانية في العراق.

An Open Letter to His Beatitude the New Patriarch of the Chaldean Church

To His Beatitude the New Patriarch of the Chaldean Church, we address this letter as representatives of the pulse of the people of Ankawa, the largest Chaldean Catholic community in Iraq.

Your Beatitude faces a thorny and complex path if you wish to mend the deep rift left by your predecessor, Patriarch Louis Sako. He adopted positions completely opposed to the people of Ankawa at every historical juncture when they fought against the corruption and systematic destruction inflicted upon the town by the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), its leaders, and its local agents. Your predecessor crowned this hostile policy by stabbing his flock in the back and abandoning them to their fate. He even went so far as to accuse them of being responsible for the corruption and destruction that befell the town, currying favor with the regional authorities at the expense of his people's dignity.

The history of the Chaldean Church and its spiritual standing in the hearts of the people of Ankawa, established by great and revered bishops of old, such as Mar Estefan Babka and Mar Hanna Marho, has been seriously shaken in the minds of the new generations. These generations have grown up, after the era of these venerable figures, with a group of bishops who do not place their flocks at the bottom of their priorities. The people of Ankawa still remember how the bishop and all the priests refused to participate with the masses of the faithful in the 2015 demonstrations denouncing corruption. Only two priests from the town deviated from this betrayal, driven by their zeal for their land to rise up against the wishes of the bishop, who chose to appease the regional authorities and remain silent, even as the walls of his bishopric were desecrated by drunken strangers who came to wreak havoc in the town with impunity.

We would like to inform you that the town now contains nearly 100 illegal dens of iniquity and immorality, nestled within residential neighborhoods, under the direct protection of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP)—the very party whose leaders you recently praised. Meanwhile, the party's henchmen in the town are working to cut off the livelihoods of citizens and intimidate them through the security forces (Asayish) against anyone who dares to speak out for justice. This has forced everyone to write under pseudonyms on our page for fear of security reprisals. Furthermore, hundreds of dunams of the town's land are being plundered daily by the authorities and influential figures in the region, while our youth are being forced into emigration after being presented with only two options: either abandon their dignity and flatter those imposed upon us by the KDP as our guardians to secure their daily sustenance, or leave. This has led to the depletion of the town's youthful energy.

We are formally submitting this letter to Your Eminence, and we will ensure its personal delivery to you, to eliminate any pretext of ignorance, and so that you may bear full responsibility for your future decisions with complete awareness of the bitter reality. Your Eminence faces a difficult test in regaining the trust of the last stronghold of Chaldean Catholicism in Iraq.
