Sanma Provincial Government Council

The Saturday visit with the Sanma Provincial President to Sele community (Canal Fanafo). The population of the community is about 1,100 plus, it is also the centre of all nearby villages. The People there are friendly. The centre has a clinic with a maternity room for mamas to deliver, a Kindy, a Primary School & Domatries for students that came far away. The Sele community has been totally left out and not been supported by the Provincial Government or the General Government.

However, we must thank the Presbyterian Santo Bush Mission for taking there first step and then the Provincial Government and the General Government can come in with their support.

The invitation for the Sanma Office last Saturday was to Open the Health house, the Kindy Classroom, the Primary Classrooms, the Domatries and the Teachers house. It has a government teacher that was Presented on that day with the PEO of Sanma Provincial Education authority.

The People of Sele community find difficulty out there, especially with their road, Education, Communication and Transport.

Todays opening for the Area Council House for South Santo Area 2 and a staff house. The South Santo People were very happy. The South Santo Area 2 Councilor's with the support of the Area Administrator constructed some Solar lights for the South Santo Area 2 Park. The Sanma President delivered an outstanding speech..
