The earth is ours to protect!
We live in a beautiful planet filled with amazing landscapes and sceneries.
However, with time, many landscapes have been shadowed by unregulated waste, slowly turning into was wastelands.
Here at Dandora Green, at the heart of East and Central Africa's biggest landfill, we are doing our part in ensuring we intercept as much waste as possible before it reaches the dumpsite.
Our contribution to protecting our beautiful earth is recycling one plastic container at a time.

Behind every piece is more than glass, it’s innovation, creativity, and the drive to turn waste into something meaningful.
This is how small ideas can create real impact.

It’s Monday — let’s talk business ♻️
At Dandora Green Recyclers, we are actively buying and selling plastic, creating value from waste while supporting livelihoods in our community.
We buy: • HDPE
• PET
• PP Injection
• Thermofoam
We work with waste pickers and suppliers to collect, sort, and supply quality plastic to recyclers and manufacturers.
If you’re a supplier, collector, or partner looking to work with us, let’s connect and turn waste into opportunity.

This week’s Tea Party reminded us of the strength across our entire community, both women and men who show up every day to keep recycling moving.
The men are an important part of this work, doing the heavy lifting, showing up consistently, and contributing to the effort that keeps our environment clean.
Yesterday, the images of the men stood out, a quiet reminder that every effort matters, and every person plays a role.
At Dandora Green Recyclers, we continue to support all our waste pickers with dignity and equality.

At Dandora Green Recyclers, discarded glass bottles don’t have to end up in the dumpsite. Through upcycling, they can be transformed into usable glass products, giving them a second life.
A bottle thrown away today can become a glass used tomorrow.
That’s the power of rethinking waste.

On this World Recycling Day, we had the opportunity to host The Circulate Initiative through our program at the Dandora dumpsite.
The visit created space to engage, learn, and highlight the critical role waste pickers play in the recycling value chain — often doing the heaviest work while remaining the least supported.
Through partnerships like these, we continue to push for better working conditions, access to protective gear, and more inclusive opportunities for waste pickers.
The journey toward a stronger, more inclusive circular economy continues.

Waste pickers work daily in challenging conditions to keep plastic out of our environment and support community recycling. Today, we distributed personal protective equipment to help improve their safety while they work.
Providing basic protective gear is a small but important step toward ensuring dignity, safety, and better working conditions for the waste pickers who power our recycling efforts.
We continue to welcome partners and supporters who would like to help strengthen safety and support for waste pickers.

Our weekly Tea Party supports waste pickers with something simple that helps ease daily needs and keep them going.
This week’s Tea Party was made possible through the generous support of Mr. Green Africa. Thank you for standing with the people who power our recycling work.
We welcome individuals and organizations to support upcoming Tea Parties and help us continue caring for our waste pickers.
