Class 22-004

The last couple days the class executed Table II, Drills & Positions Instructor Evals, and fired Table IV stage 1 & 2 Day and Night.

Today they’ll finish up Table IV and tomorrow will be the first graded shooting event; Rifle/Carbine Table VI Qualification w/ CCO.

Where’s table V? Don’t worry, they’ll knock that out before VI, but it’ll be with BUIS.

Class 22-004

Table III Drills

Common classroom lecture/discussions are complete, but technical learning is not just tied to a classroom.

These Soldiers are not just being evaluated on executing drills but they are preparing to be evaluated on instructing these drills. Additionally, they will be instructing positions.

TC 3-22.9 & TC 3-23.35 Chp. 6 & AP D in both.

A technically sound marksman breeds a proficient marksman in ex*****on.

Class 22-004

PMI spread over a day and a half. Covering the M4, M17, M249, SACM, maintenance, optics, employment, and everything in between.

Having a technical base of knowledge builds proficiency within the individual.

The class will be starting Drills and Positions later today, which again builds individual proficiency but also the ability to diagnose shooter’s errors.

They will be starting to learn how to coach and mentor other Soldiers in marksmanship.

The written exam is coming up on Friday. Study up!
