🥞🚒PANCAKE BREAKFAST @ HICKEY PARK! 🚒🥞

Come have breakfast with the Flippin Fire Department on Saturday, October 17th, from 8:00–11:00 AM at Hickey Park!

We’ll be serving pancakes, sausage, and juice, and instead of asking for a monetary donation, we’re asking for CANDY! 🍬🍫

We’re collecting medium-large sized bags of individually wrapped candy to help stock up for upcoming parades and Spooky season 🎃👻 where we’ll be representing our community and handing out candy!

So bring the family, bring a bag of candy, and come enjoy breakfast with your local firefighters! 🚒❤️

🔥 BURN BAN REMINDER 🔥

We know everyone is ready to get back to burning brush, limbs, leaves, and everything else that has been piling up—and we completely understand! Unfortunately, the little bit of rain we received today just wasn’t enough to make a dent in our extremely dry conditions—we’re still short by roughly 17 to 18 inches of rain. Marion County is still under a burn ban, and the fire danger remains very high.

We’ve been very fortunate not to have more brush fires during this drought, and we’d really like to keep it that way! Please continue to hold off on burning until conditions improve and the burn ban is officially lifted. It may be inconvenient for now, but it helps protect our homes, property, fields, livestock, and community. We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation! ❤️🚒🔥

The BURN BAN is still in effect for ALL of Marion County / State of Arkansas. We did NOT receive enough rain unfortunately. Please continue to refrain from burning anything except the use of a grill with a grate. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience and continue to keep safety as our top priority. We will update you all as soon as we get word on any updates. Thank you!

🔥 Marion County Burn Ban in Effect Until Further Notice 🔥
Marion County has issued a countywide burn ban due to extremely dry conditions and increased wildfire risk.
This ban is in place to protect the safety of public 👨‍👩‍👧 & our first responders 🚒👩‍🚒.
Please help keep our community safe by following ALL burn ban requirements:
❌🔥 No outdoor burning
❌🛢️ No barrel burning
❌🔥 No recreational fires
❌🎆 No fireworks

As of this afternoon the city of Flippin has been placed on a BURN BAN. No open burning will be permitted in city limits for the time being. Fire pits with a grate over it or a grill with a grate is perfectly fine but no burn piles,ditch burning, etc.
