🗣️SAVE THE DATE! The 2024 Tennessee Young Democrats Constitutional Convention will take place the weekend of September 21-22, 2024! Location and programming details are still being worked out, but we wanted to get the word out now so that we can plan for maximum turnout. We get it that some of you aren’t enthusiastic about the choices we have this November, but real talk though, our futures are on the line this November. By sitting out this election you will be putting at risk the largest climate initiative in a generation, allowing a nationwide abortion ban to go into effect, ending any chances of any further student loan forgiveness, ending the possibility of a minimum wage increase, and putting 30 million Americans at risk of losing their healthcare.

Folks it’s simple, sitting out this election will only do more harm than good, and all of the progress that’s been made in the last four years will be wiped away and then some. That’s why it’s so important for us to vote in November. We get that some of you feel the need to sit out this election due to various reasons, but ultimately though the choice could not be any clearer.

Do you want to continue with the progress that’s been made or do you want to sit on the sidelines giving the other side permission to do all the things they said they would do on day one? Don’t sit on the sidelines this November, and get registered to vote now. https://ovr.govote.tn.gov

Rural Young Democrats are a force to be reckond with.

The Tennessee Young Democrats established a Rural Caucus to help Young Democrats in rural Tennessee to get more involved in the political process. Tennessee is mostly a rural state, and we are a part of a movement to help get Tennessee to be a more progressive state. Young Rural people know that it is challenging living in a rural area, but we also know that being out of the city helps us to be more connected to our friends, neighbors, our communities, and the natural beauty that surrounds us. Rural Tennessee isn’t going to be quiet any longer, because we will make our voices heard.
