DBI: MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT COMMISSIONED AND HANDOVER THREE BOREHOLES.

The Member of Parliament for Daffiama-Bussie-Issa constituency Hon. Dr. Sebastian Ngmenenso Sandaare, officially commissioned and handed over three newly drilled boreholes in Owlo-Baapare, Bussie-Tangazu and Daffiama-Daville communities.

Access to clean and portable drinking water remains a top priority under the NDC’s development agenda for Dafiema-Bussie-Issa. This initiative is part of a broader commitment to ensure that every community and household within the constituency has access to safe drinking water in the shortest possible time.

In handing over these facilities, he called on the beneficiary communities to embrace a strong maintenance culture. "These boreholes are meant to serve their intended purpose for many years and that can only happen if we all take responsibility for their upkeep and protection".

The community members expressed deep appreciation for this gesture, noting that it will go a long way to end the long distances women and children have had to travel to fetch water. They also highlighted that the boreholes will provide safe drinking water not only for households but also for livestock and other living things in the area.

The MP reaffirm his commitment to inclusivity and unity in development. No community will be left behind. We will continue to extend these interventions across the constituency until every resident has access to potable water.

Together, we will build a healthier and more resilient Dafema-Bussie-Issa.

DBI MP Wishes BECE Candidates Well, Donates Maths Sets

Daffiama, UWR — The Member of Parliament for Daffiama-Bussie-Issa, Dr. Sebastian Ngmenenso Sandaare, has extended his best wishes to all candidates writing this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination in the district.

The MP also congratulated teachers for their diverse roles in adequately preparing the students. He particularly commended teachers and officials of the Ghana Education Service who facilitated this year’s mock examination, which he sponsored.

“The feedback from the mock examinations suggests that the students are well prepared for the final exams,” he said.

A delegation from the MP’s office, led by the Presiding Member of the District Assembly, Hon. Evans Naa Gandiibu, visited the two examination centers at Issa and Daffiama to wish the candidates well. The team used the opportunity to donate mathematical sets to all candidates.

Interactions with coordinators at the centers revealed that three candidates were absent at the Issa center without reason. Officials reported no challenges in the conduct of the examination, with students beginning their first paper in high spirits.

This year, 519 registered candidates are taking part in the BECE across the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa District. The examinations started smoothly today without any hitches.

On behalf of the Constituency Executive Committee, the Member of Parliament, Hon. Sebastian Sandaare, and our Hon. District Chief Executive, we wish to extend our profound gratitude to the rank and file of the NDC in DBI for turning out massively for the Thank You Tour by our National Chairman, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia.

Special mention goes to the Upper West Regional Chairman, Chairman Bunas, and his executives, appointees, former appointees, and other party stakeholders who accompanied our esteemed Chairman to Bussie for this important working visit. We believe this visit has energized the base of the party, strengthening our unity and sense of purpose. The programme also served as an accountability platform, as the District Chief Executive and Member of Parliament amply accounted for their stewardship so far.

We appreciate our traditional rulers, particularly the Bussie Traditional Council, who welcomed the entourage and held fruitful deliberations before the main event. We continue to appreciate the fatherly role played by the Traditional Council.

To our Zonal and Branch executives, youth groups, women’s groups, and everyone who attended the programme, we are eternally grateful.

The NDC shall continue to prioritize the interest and welfare of all as we support government to implement many more policies that will benefit the majority of Ghanaians.
