Caragasan National High School held its SOSA 2026 on March 19, recognizing the efforts of stakeholders and the achievements of students who represented the school.

The event was attended by partners from the PNP, JRS Enterprises, alumni, barangay officials, ministers, along with students, faculty, and staff, who shared inspirational messages.

In his address, sir Noah C. Ittangon, the school head highlighted the students’ spiritual and behavioral growth. Certificates of recognition were also awarded to stakeholders, students, faculty, and staff for their contributions.

This powerful theme set the tone for the 2026 National Women’s Month Celebration, highlighting the strength, wisdom, and leadership of women rooted in both culture and faith.

With the inspiring message of guest speaker Ma’am Honeylette Santiago Manuel, learners reflected on the vital roles of women, grounded in biblical truths—showing how women are called to lead, nurture, and serve with courage and grace.

The celebration was made more engaging as each section showcased creativity and awareness through the impersonation of empowered women from selected countries. Activities such as quiz bee competitions, intermission numbers, and slogan and poster-making contests added energy and meaning to the event.

March 12, 2026 — Grade 12 students of Caragasan National High School gathered at Twin B Resort in Dolowog, Alfonso Lista, Ifugao for their much-anticipated Recollection Day anchored on the theme, “Navigating Horizons, Honoring the Past, Embracing the Future.”

The activity served as a meaningful journey of reflection, gratitude, and purpose, allowing learners to pause and look back on their experiences while preparing their minds and spirits for the path ahead. It also formed part of the students’ developmental and recreational activities for the school year.

The event was spearheaded by the School Head, guidance advocate, and class advisers of the Graduating Class of 2026, who guided the students in strengthening their values, aspirations, and readiness for the future.

Three Students from Caragasan NHS namely Jean Carlo Dulnuan, Christian Lawodna and Ismael Abuan are part of the 10 Youth Representatives representing BSP Ifugao Council together with their school head, sir Noah C. Ittangon.

The forum gathered young Scouts and youth leaders from different schools to discuss important matters concerning Scouting, leadership, and youth participation. It served as a platform for sharing ideas, strengthening camaraderie, and empowering the voices of the youth.

Through meaningful discussions and collaborative activities, participants were inspired to become more active leaders in their communities. The event highlighted the importance of unity, responsibility, and service as Scouts continue to shape a better and brighter future.

Teachers and selected student leaders of the school underwent an emergency response training conducted by the Bureau of Fire Protection as part of the institution’s effort to strengthen disaster preparedness. 🚒

During the activity, participants were taught essential life-saving skills such as the different types of bandaging, proper emergency carries for injured individuals, and basic techniques in eliminating fire. The training aimed to equip the participants with practical knowledge and skills that can be applied in responding to emergencies within the school and the community.

Students demonstrated preparedness and awareness by participating in a fire drill under the supervision of the Bureau of Fire Protection-Alfonso Lista. 🚒🔥

The activity included an earthquake simulation where students and teachers practiced the proper “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure and safely evacuated to designated areas.

Student rescuers also took part in the simulation by responding to emergency situations, demonstrating the importance of preparedness, teamwork and quick response during disasters.

Mr. Juztine Clark Bonares and Mr. Jaybee Bogholan proudly represented the school in the Poster-Making Contest of the BFP Community Relations Week with the theme “Hangad nating lahat, pamayanang handa, aktibo at masagana.” 🎨🔥

All students of Caragasan National High School joined the BSP and GSP Encampment held on February 27–28 under the theme “One Camp, One Mission: Leading Together.”

The two-day activity was organized by the school’s faculty and staff in partnership with the Philippine National Police, Ifugao Provincial Mobile Force Company, and Bureau of Fire Protection, with support from barangay officials and the presence of Board Member, Hon. Peter Bunnag.

The encampment strengthened unity, discipline and leadership among the learners, reminding them that true leadership begins with service, teamwork, and the courage to lead together toward one shared mission.

Falling in Love with Your Career” highlighted the CNHS Career Guidance Program, a meaningful activity designed to inspire students as they prepare for their future professions. ✨🎓

The event featured four distinguished speakers who shared valuable insights from their respective fields.

Pat. Erick M. Ag-agiw encouraged students to love God, themselves, and their families as the foundation for success in any career.

Additionally, Engr. Teresa P. Ogano guided learners on making wise career choices by considering their skills, interests, and long-term goals.

Moreover, Ma'am Jiralyn L. Monchiguing shared her personal experiences as a student and discussed expectations after completing studies to prepare students for future challenges.

Finally, PCPL Eugene A. Tumaru emphasized the importance of setting goals, careful planning, and prayer to achieve one’s aspirations.

Students attended the program wearing professional uniforms representing their chosen careers. Selected learners were also recognized and awarded for Best in Professional Attire.
