Indian Constitutional Aid Association is glad to release its Bi-Annual Report for the work done since its initiation in January 2021 up until now.
We hope to achieve greater heights in near future by connecting with more MPs along with hosting clubhouse discussions, launching a youtube channel, and multiple policy drafts as recommendations to the Government of India coming up soon!

As per the current law, a wife is presumed to deliver perpetual consent to have s*x with her husband after marriage. While unwilling s*xual contact between a husband and a wife is considered criminal offence in almost every country of the world. India, however, is one of the thirty-six countries that still not have criminalised marital r**e.
ICAA not only aims to demystify the legalities behind marital r**e but thrives to bring change in public interest. Albeit, efforts have been made over the years to change these laws, necessary action hasn't been taken. Taking this in purview, ICAA joined hands with Choudhary Mehboob Ali Kaiser (MP, Lok Sabha) to introduce an amendment to the criminal law in Lok Sabha in 2021.

An amendment to The Prevention Of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 , Chapter III, section 11 (1) with increased amount of fine and sentence for creating a deterrence to prevent such crime as mentioned in section 11 (1) (a) to 11 (1) (o) against Animals.

Mr. Gurjeet Singh Aujla submitted the bill on compulsory installation of water harvesting plants in Lok Sabha.
The bill aims to compulsorily install, water harvesting structures and to promote, production of energy from renewable energy sources, in order to reduce dependence on fossil fuels, ensure energy security and reduce local and global pollutants, keeping in view economic, financial, social and environmental considerations, and for matters connected therewith or incidental
thereto.
