The Department of Defense Warrior Games is an annual event, first held in 2010, that celebrates the resiliency and dedication of wounded, ill, and injured active duty and veteran U.S. military service members. Hundreds of elite athletes, including those from international allied nations, compete in adaptive sporting events such as wheelchair basketball, cycling, indoor rowing, and wheelchair rugby

From June 13-20, nearly 200 wounded, ill, and injured service members and veterans will compete in 12 adaptive sports in San Antonio, Texas, showcasing the resilience, determination, and strength that define the Warrior Games.

Join us June 13th at 5:30pm at River Center for the Warrior Games River Rally on the iconic San Antonio Riverwalk! Cheer on competitors, families, and supporters as they kick-off an unforgettable week of competition and unity.

The Games will also feature special guests Revell and Ramos as hosts for the private kick-off and send off ceremonies.

Can't make it to San Antonio? Fans can watch the action live on the Warrior Games website and YouTube (), or with ESPN+ (subscription required) streaming 59 hours of competition throughout the week!

June is PTSD Awareness Month. There are currently about 12 million people in the United States living with PTSD. The continues to raise awareness and offer unwavering support to those affected by post-traumatic stress.

Sport Spotlight: Swimming 🏊‍♂️

Swimming features freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke events across multiple distances, with competitors racing in timed heats based on classification. Events at the Warrior Games include the 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle, 50m backstroke, and 50m breaststroke, highlighting endurance, technique, and determination in the water. 🏊‍♀️ Come watch June 20 at Bill Walker Pool (events are free and open to the public) or stream live online at dodwarriorgames.com.

Local Marine Officer to Compete in National Warrior Games 26/05/2026

Chief Warrant Officer 3 Jeremy Owens is recovering from traumatic brain injury and chronic physical conditions but that isn’t stopping him from representing Team Marine Corps at the 2026 Warrior Games.

Watch him compete in cycling, indoor rowing, swimming, and track this June in San Antonio, TX!
