The good Governor's journey in public service commenced when he was appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of the National Telecommunications Commission in 1998. He held this position until 2001. Oyie had also been a member of the House of Representatives for two terms. He was first elected as the Congressman of Nueva Ecija's third district in May 2001 and was re-elected in the 2004 elections. It was in 2007 when Gov. Oyie was elected as the Governor of Nueva Ecija for three terms in which his administration has been marked by a steadfast resolve to restore peace and uphold the liberty and dignity of every Novo Ecijano as background for the attainment of sustained and inclusive local progress. Oyie is known to be the youngest elected governor of the province of Nueva Ecija while his wife, Hon. Czarina Domingo-Umali, is its first female governor. She served as Nueva Ecija’s local chief executive from 2016 to 2019. Under his administration, the Province of Nueva Ecija has received several recognitions including Gawad Pamana ng Lahi (2011), Seal of Good Housekeeping (2011) and Seal of Good Local Governance (2015) from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), and Rice Achievers Award - Hall of Fame from the Department of Agriculture.

𝐍𝐔𝐄𝐕𝐀 𝐄𝐂𝐈𝐉𝐀, 𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐏𝐀𝐆𝐋𝐀𝐊𝐈 𝐍𝐆 𝐄𝐊𝐎𝐍𝐎𝐌𝐈𝐘𝐀 𝐒𝐀 𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐋 𝐋𝐔𝐙𝐎𝐍!

Ayon sa pinakahuling ulat ng 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗣𝗦𝗔), lumago ng 7.0% 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗸𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘆𝗮 𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝘂𝗲𝘃𝗮 𝗘𝗰𝗶𝗷𝗮 𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻𝗴 2025—ang pinakamataas na growth rate sa lahat ng lalawigan at highly urbanized cities sa Central Luzon. Mas mataas din ito sa 4.5% na kabuuang paglago ng ekonomiya ng rehiyon. Sumunod ang Tarlac sa 5.7% at Pampanga sa 5.6%.

Umabot sa tinatayang ₱355.09 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗼 𝗚𝗗𝗣 ng Nueva Ecija sa constant 2018 prices. Mas mabilis din ang paglago ngayong 2025 kumpara sa 5.6% na growth noong 2024.

Kabilang sa mga sektor na nagtala ng pinakamalaking paglago ang human health and social work activities sa 19.4%, wholesale and retail trade at repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles sa 12.3%, at accommodation and food service activities sa 12.0%.

Sa pamumuno nina Governor Aurelio Oyie Matias Umali at Vice Governor Lemon Umali, patuloy na nakatuon ang Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Nueva Ecija sa pagpapalakas ng agrikultura, negosyo, pamumuhunan, serbisyong pangkalusugan, imprastraktura, at iba pang programang nagbubukas ng mas maraming oportunidad para sa mga Novo Ecijano.

Ang magandang resulta ng ating ekonomiya ay bunga ng sama-samang ambag ng ating 𝐦𝐠𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐬𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐤𝐚, 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐰𝐚, 𝐧𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐬𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞, 𝐦𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐦𝐮𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐧, 𝐦𝐠𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐤𝐚𝐥 𝐧𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐚𝐧, 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐭 𝐛𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐭 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐨 𝐄𝐜𝐢𝐣𝐚𝐧𝐨 na patuloy na nagsisikap para sa pag-unlad ng ating lalawigan.

Higit sa magagandang numero, patuloy ang layunin ng Provincial Government na matiyak na ang paglago ng ekonomiya ay maisalin sa mas maraming trabaho at kabuhayan, mas matatag na negosyo, 𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗻𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗶𝘀𝘆𝗼 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗼, 𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗱 𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝘂𝗵𝗮𝘆 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗯𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗼 𝗘𝗰𝗶𝗷𝗮𝗻𝗼.
