BEHIND EVERY CADET WHO LEARNS TO LEAD IS A MENTOR WHO NEVER STOPPED GUIDING.

Some people teach from a lesson plan. Others teach through the way they speak, the standards they uphold, and the example they leave behind. To our mentors—Commandant CPT JAYMAR A. The Reserve Command Philippine Air Force, Headquarters 2nd Air Reserve Center facilitated the distribution of Free Battle Dress Uniforms (BDUs) to cadets, reinforcing proper military bearing, discipline, and readiness.

With the assistance of MTI TSg Jose Jeric M. Mendoza PAF and VRI AM Jose Chito De Leon III PAFr, cadets received their BDUs as part of the continued support extended to their training and development.

The cadets extend their sincere gratitude to the Reserve Command Philippine Air Force, Headquarters 2nd Air Reserve Center, for its generosity and invaluable support. This gesture reflects its continued commitment to the development and training of future Philippine Air Force reservists.

The cadets took part in the Preliminary Examination to assess their understanding of the lessons and training covered during the period. Alongside the written examination, they also engaged in drills that tested their coordination, discipline, and ability to work together. Through these efforts, knowledge was put into practice, coordination was strengthened, and readiness was built for the next phase of training.

IN PHOTOS | On September 16, 2026, under the guidance and leadership of MTI TSg Jose Jeric M Mendoza PAF and AM Jomari S Juan PAF, the ROTC cadets participated in military lectures and precision drills as part of their continuing training.

Each training challenged us to stay focused, follow commands, and work as one unit. Through the lectures and precision drills, we gained a better understanding of leadership, responsibility, and discipline. Every correction and repetition required patience, reminding us that improvement takes time, consistency, and effort.

As we continued each session, we learned to trust not only our own abilities but also the cadets beside us. The training pushed us to become more disciplined, more accountable, and more prepared for the responsibilities that come with being an ROTC cadet. These are lessons we carry with us as we continue our path toward service.

With the opening of a new academic year, the 236th Department of Military Science and Tactics (DMST) proudly welcomes all ROTC cadets, advanced cadets, and respected mentors as they begin another meaningful year of military training, leadership development, and dedicated service at FEU Pampanga.

The department warmly extends its sincere welcome to the distinguished leaders who will guide and support the corps throughout the academic year—our Assistant Commandant, Captain Danica O. Lara, PAF; our Military Training Officer, TSGT Jerick Mendoza, PAF; our valued VRI, AM Jose Chito De Leon III RCRIM; and our ROTC Coordinator, Mark Patrick Lugue Nigos, RCRIM. With their professionalism, expertise, and unwavering commitment to excellence, they will continue to inspire, develop, and strengthen the values, discipline, and capabilities of every Tamaraw under the ROTC program.
