Last night was a magical evening with our friends from !
John Reddick, our curator of the exhibition, as well as our board member - who’s a lauded & noted historian, archivist & preservationist - walked a packed & rapt crowd through the earliest days of popular music through to today!
This stroll through time started in Savannah, GA & landed in NYC - between our beloved 28th Street to midtown & Harlem, too!
It was complete & replete with amazing illustrated images of from the 1860s through the 1930s…including amazing shots of sheet music covers & compelling maps of the areas, too!
Please join us on 9/19 for our happy hour in concert with , too! You can see the entire exhibition & hear music of the era played live with a cocktail or mocktail in-hand!

Join us for a musical celebration of New York’s immigrant culture presented in collaboration with Carnegie Hill Neighbors. Harry Warren (1893-1981) is one of the greatest composers to emerge from Tin Pan Alley, his compositions forming a core of the American Songbook. He is also the most important Italian-American composer of popular song of the 20th century.

This past Thursday was a magical night of music - it’s just what we do here !
For 90 minutes, the singular & Bob Lamont - our Education chairperson - brought us back in time by treating a select crowd to the tremendous tunes of Harry Warren!!
The intimate venue seated around 45 people who listened intently to the legacy of Mr. Warren unfurl before them in story & song…highlighting Mr. Warren’s career from Tin Pan Alley to Hollywood to Broadway & back again.
Because of Harry Warren’s Italian American heritage, hosting the event at the on Manhattan’s Upper East Side only perfected an already amazing evening!!

This holiday season has been one for the record books here !
On December 6th, we partnered with to be part of the 111th holiday tree lighting by bringing together our own accompanied by to play some of the best known Tin Pan Alley holiday favorites on what was a cold & breezy night! We also heard from ’s own choir on their doorstep - only a block away from their HQ!
We all kept warm by the glow of the season!
Then on December 15th, we partnered with in conjunction with the end of Hanukkah to showcase a small part of the illustrious connection between Jewish composers of the Tin Pan Alley era.
We have a full slate of events set to kick off in February 2024! In the meantime, have a safe, warm & happy holiday season!
